Captain's Message

Messages from Players:

Let me be the first to Kvell a little and say to all my fellow Jews -
Congratulations on reaching the promised land!

It is a privilige to play with you all each year. Every April 2nd I look back and remember how much fun the weekend was, and think about ways to maintain for the rest of the year the same spirit and joy that come with playing with Matza Balls.

Mazel Tov!

-PB

Congrats on bringing the trophy back to the tribe.

Been meaning to write for a while, but it's been so busy, and i'm tired all the time, and i'm having troubles sleeping, oy vey it's been hectic...

Anyhow, just wanted to say how sweet of a time I had in SC. Yes, winning makes things look rosy, but the victory aside - I felt honored to be part of a group that feels like a real team even with only 2 days a year to practice/play/jell/win. I have always believed that things/events happen for a reason, and after finding out on Monday that I had torn the tendon in my finger I reflect back to the finals game and complete lack of pain I felt on the field. Some may say it was a case of adrenaline, while I can only think of one reason - faith.

A big thank you once again to David for being at the head of our Matza Ball table yet again, and of course to the Seidlers for the never ending support. Finally, Eli Cooper gets my vote for MVP.

Happy belated Passover to all, and to all a good night,
DK
